We are one of the most experienced providers of outdoor education in the UK. We were founded over 35 years ago and run over 1.2 million activity sessions each year across ten activity centres. Each year we welcome over 175,000 young people from more than 35 countries around the world.

We are going into our fourth year of business at our North Devon site, and are looking for someone to join the team that can help drive our customer experience on to the next level.

Job Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Guest Experience Lead, to start early February 2025. 

You will be responsible for driving a customer-focussed culture across the centre, ensuring all our guests have the best experience during their stay.

As the Guest Experience Lead you will lead and manage a small team whilst working towards achieving and maintaining excellent guest communications, feedback and returning business.

Some responsibilities include: 

  • Leading a small team whilst working to sales targets to achieve high levels of repeat customer revenue and promote returning customers.
  • Addressing and dealing with any concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Proactively implementing improvements in relation to customer satisfaction.
  • To coach and develop the customer services team to ensure excellent service is always delivered.
  • To communicate, and where necessary train, all departments within the centre to ensure that customer feedback is used to proactively improve the overall quality of our centre.

About you:

  • Experience working in a customer facing role providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communicator both written and verbal.
  • Excellent relationship building skills, personable and approachable.
  • Innovative and creative thinker. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of leading a team.
