Marketing Executive - £27K / Brighton 

Job Purpose: 

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, this role will lead on social media management and content creation for our family of brands and will take ownership of marketing activities for Britannia Coach Services. Creating effective and engaging content is crucial to the role, with a focus on driving audience growth, reach and website referrals from our social media platforms. 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

  • Taking lead on social media management and content creation and working closely with brand marketing leads to deliver wider marketing campaigns through social media channels.  
  • Monitoring social media analytics and carrying out data analysis to understand which content has been most effective in driving growth and engagement. This will inform future plans and social media activities. 
  • Take lead on social media influencer partnerships, identifying accounts that are a good fit for our brands and establishing mutually beneficial agreements 
  • Work with on centre teams to collate and capture unique content at our locations, with a focus on creating and curating content for our social media channels (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn)  
  • Actively encouraging employees’ use of social media channels and pro-actively assisting with generating new and engaging content across the company. 
  • Monitoring competitor activity across social media conducting ad hoc research projects as defined by the marketing team. 
  • Monitor partner companies, charities, industry news, networks and groups to share, contribute and engage in social content furthering our reach and positioning our brands as informed & connected industry leaders. 
  • Working with the marketing team and in-house design team to create resources to use on social media channels, including gifs, videos, creative campaign assets and infographics.  
  • Ensure all social media messaging, creatives and tone of voice are consistent with brand positioning across all channels. 
  • With guidance from the Marketing Manager, take ownership of marketing activities for Britannia Coach Services (approximately 1 day per week). This will include development of marketing & event resources, website updates, advert listings management and connecting BCS messaging in with Kingswood marketing activities where appropriate. 
  • With the support of the Marketing Manager, manage the marketing budget for Britannia Coach Services, keeping track of spend, invoices and updating the budget sheet accordingly. 
  • Assisting and supporting the marketing team on additional tasks (such as events and photo shoots etc.) as required to aid with the smooth running of the department. 
  • Ensuring Company policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Person Spec and Skills: 

  • Great people skills, with an open and collaborative approach to work 
  • Good copywriting and attention to detail is needed for this role 
  • Proficiency in social media essential 
  • Ability to work productively in a small team, and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels 
  • Organised, conscientious, driven to learn new skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, keeping to agreed deadlines 
  • Must be able to see how their role integrates with the bigger picture.
