Join Our Team as a Freelance Independent End Point Assessor  we are looking for Assessors for our Outdoor Activity Instructor Level 3 qualifications 

Salary Details: £100 per candidate + all travel expenses paid.

Are you passionate about assessing and guiding the next generation of Outdoor Activity Instructors? We are looking for dedicated individuals to join us as Freelance Independent End Point Assessors, contributing to the success of apprentices completing their Outdoor Activity Instructor Level 3 apprenticeship. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct end point assessments in alignment with the published Assessment Plan. 
  • Ensure independence in assessment processes, maintaining high-quality standards. 
  • Liaise with employers to arrange and conduct assessments onsite. 
  • Provide clear and justified grading decisions. 
  • Contribute to training, standardisation, and continuous professional development activities. 

We are currently seeking assessors in the following locations: 

  • Northeast England (South Yorkshire, Northumberland) 
  • Norfolk 
  • Midlands (Staffordshire) 
  • South (Kent, Isle of Wight, North Devon) 

Requirements: 

  • Evidence of assessing staff or learner competence against nationally accredited standards at Level 3 
  • Possess an assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, A1, TAQA, etc.). 
  • Experience using a diverse range of assessment methods and evidence. 
  • Detailed knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards for the Outdoor Activity Instructor L3. 
  • At least 3 years’ experience within the sector at a senior or training level. 

Desirable Skills: 

  • Hold or be working towards an internal quality assurance qualification. 
  • Current Enhanced DBS, registered to update services. 
  • Knowledge of prevent & safeguarding. 
  • We are keen to hear from candidates with a background in Field Work/Studies along with Outdoor activities and bushcraft. 

Essential Skills: 

  • Ability to understand and respond to the individual needs of employers/apprentices. 
  • Sufficient and relevant technical knowledge of current management practice and theories. 
  • Impartial assessment ability, free from bias. 
  • Strong deadline management skills.
