This role will be based remotely with the occasional travel to Brighton, therefore the candidate must be living in the U.K.
About the role:
To create, maintain, and improve the company's bespoke software applications and reporting systems, the Application Developer will collaborate closely with the software devolvement team and other individuals across the organisation.
In this exciting and varied role, you will be expected to:
- Design functions and write code for our internal and external facing bespoke applications
- Act as a technical authority, providing expertise to colleagues
- Ensure that we surpass our colleagues’ expectations for the provision of support
- Communicate clearly with all colleagues and stakeholders in a timely fashion.
Technical skills required:
Minimum 2-years’ experience in each of the following
- ASP.NET (In C#)
- JS framework such as Angular or Node
- SQL 2012 or higher
- MVC (C#)
- Entity Framework
- JavaScript, Basic HTML and CSS
Desirable experience:
- SSIS/SSRS/Report Builder
- GIT
- Angular
- VB Script/VB.NET
- Web API
- Good understanding of OO Programming
- Good experience of Agile Development
- Principles of Refactoring
- Azure integration
