Group Food and Beverage Manager (Field based)
Here at Kingswood we pride ourselves on providing a quality service to our visitors, and at the heart of that service is a fantastic catering experience. With hard working and dedicated catering teams across the business, we are seeking a Group Food and Beverage Manager to join us in our success.
The successful candidate will lead all aspects of the food, beverage and retail function by being responsible for controlling expenditure through supplier and category management and ensuring best practice to deliver comprehensive, affordable and quality food & beverage service across all centres. The Food and Beverage Manager will also ensure that all food safety, allergen management and health & safety policies and procedures are in accordance to legislation and to agreed company standards.
About you:
Essential criteria:
- Excellent understanding of operational Food Safety, Allergen Management and H&S requirements and awareness of relevant legislation
- Proven experience of successfully coaching and developing the performance of teams in a customer service focused operation
- Experience of managing supply chain and category management
- Evidence of food & beverage management and operational delivery in food service and menu planning
- Operational understanding of financial and quality management systems
- Proven ability to manage high pressured environments, where there may be significant peaks in work load demands
- Strong track record of coaching and mentoring individuals and teams to achieve their potential
- Operational experience of managing budgets
- Excellent communication skills
- ICT literate, proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Current full driving licence
Desirable criteria:
- Multi-site management experience preferably in a residential or educational setting
- Management experience of working in an environment with robust safeguarding processes
