As part of our success, we are proud to see this reflect in the growth of our business, and therefore we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Payroll Manager to join us on our journey.

Reporting to the Finance Director the Payroll Manager will be accountable for the Group payroll operations, ensuring each stage of the payroll process is properly
actioned, that teams are paid correctly and correct payments and deductions are made. Ensuring that the appropriate information is communicated to our pension
providers, HMRC and other statutory and pension scheme bodies. The payroll manager will manage the End of Year statutory returns required by HMRC, and our
pension providers.


The payroll manager will be the subject expert with our teams providing advice to colleagues on our occupational pension schemes. They will manage and control
the payroll software and database, working closely with the HR shared service team.

Person Specification:

  • Educated to Degree level (or
    equivalent)
  • Hold a recognised qualification in
    Payroll and Pensions e.g. CIPP Diploma
    in Payroll Management or equivalent
  • Member of Chartered Institute of
    Payroll Professionals (CIPP)
  • Previous experience of Payroll
    Management in a medium to large
    organisation
  • Detailed knowledge of payroll systems,
    taxation and national insurance rules.
  • Substantial experience of using
    computerised payroll systems involving
    all aspects of payroll.
  • Experience of designing and
    implementing
